Sometimes we set such high goals that we feel like we need to race out of the gate in order to achieve everything we aspire to. Often, when we finally slow down and creep our way out into the race, we're usually on better footing. I've won big and lost big and this week, I share my own experience with how to creep your way to success.
What is your super power? We all have things that are bigger than us that keeps us motivated to fight on during tough times. We all need the ability to lift up against tremendous pressure and we all have that strength in different forms. How do you stay excited about the people and things you care about?
Just about everyone hates the concept of failing. It hurts to fail, but in failure, often comes our greatest life lessons. If you look back on your life, do you see a lot of failures or barely any. If you don't see many, chances are, you're not living a full enough life because you're not taking enough chances. Failures should come in life but you need to move fast through them and get closer to your next win.
How much self-belief do you have? We're all getting into such a key time of when goals expire or they grow. It's so easy to have self-doubt because maybe you've failed at something before, maybe hundreds of times. The good news is, you're not a failure, but your doubt sometimes gets the best of you. Learn how to feed your belief so that you can thrive and achieve your goals this year.
The new year is here. Aside from the changing of the number, is 2017 going to be a new year for you? Are you going to stick with your goals? What distractions will keep you from achieving your goals. Making a decision to make this a new year, vs the same ol' year you had last year is all up to you. The people you hang out with dictate your success and that includes being around the people that will help you achieve your new goals.
